We know you have it hard. Harder than people who have homes, money, families, jobs.
You don't know where you will get food today or tomorrow. You don't know where you will sleep tonight. You don't know where to begin.
Emotions and the Cruel World
These problems can be overcome with effort and hope. Perhaps you gave effort and hope a long time ago and lost them. Perhaps you can't stop drinking or drugging because you want to escape your problems or the cruel world and cruel people. Perhaps you fought for a government that now won't help you at all. You may be filled with anger. You may hate. You may believe the government will change and everything will be OK.
Government and Society
First, you must understand that the government will not help you, just as the people around you do not care about your situation. They do not see that, at any given moment, they could end up sleeping on park benches, going to homeless shelters, struggling for their next meal.
People believe they are secure in their jobs and have incomes that will last all their lives. And if they lose their jobs, they will easily go to another one. They may have a high school diploma or college degree. But what they do not realize is that they could end up on the street, homeless, in a wheelchair. They could drink themselves to death. They could do crack. They could lose all their money with medical bills and debt.
Knowledge and Basic Things in Life
For whatever reason you ended up where you are, reading this for help. You too can become stronger, get a job and home. You too can have food. You have to believe that with knowledge comes the ability to succeed at the basic things in life. You must believe that you will find solutions to day-to-day hardships you face, that no one else but you faces. And you have to believe that once you can read, write, use computers, appear presentable to society, you will find a place to stay, food for tomorrow, and a job.
